ICE HOCKEY LESSONS

Ice hockey is one of the world’s fastest and most dynamic team sports, combining skilful stick‑handling, tactical awareness, speed, and determination. It’s an exciting, high‑energy sport that challenges players both physically and mentally, making it a fantastic activity for building confidence, coordination, and teamwork.
Our hockey pathway is designed to guide skaters from the basics of skating the hockey way through to real game‑style play, supporting players of all ages and abilities. So whether your goal is to join a local ice hockey club and compete, or simply enjoy the sport as a fun and social leisure activity, our ice hockey programme is perfect for you.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn, practise, and take part in games alongside others who share the same passion for the sport.
SKATE HOCKEY
This course introduces participants to the fundamentals of skating the hockey way, focusing on the essential techniques needed to build confidence and control on the ice. No previous skating experience is required, making it an accessible starting point for anyone interested in the sport.
Levels 1–6 are delivered as 30‑minute group lessons, where skaters develop their skills step by step under the guidance of our experienced coaches.

Skate Hockey Required Equipment (Partial Kit)
• Helmet with full face cage
• Neck guard
• Ice hockey gloves
• Hockey skates
• Ice hockey stick
PLAY HOCKEY
Play Hockey follows a similar structure to Skate Hockey but introduces the added challenge of developing puck‑handling skills while skating. This course focuses on building confidence in real game‑style situations, helping skaters refine their control, coordination, and awareness on the ice. It’s the perfect next step for those looking to move closer to recreational games or competitive club hockey.
Full ice hockey equipment is required to take part.
