The National Ice Centre is celebrating it's 25th anniversary!
Since opening it’s doors in April 2000 by Olympic Gold Medalist, Jayne Torvill, the National Ice Centre has proudly provided world class ice skating and exciting ice sports activities for 25 years.
By introducing the first twin olympic-sized pads in the UK, we have welcomed thousands of budding skaters into our venue and celebrated the flourish of ice skaters around the world.
At the NIC, we believe anyone can skate, and by operating accessible public skating sessions, learn to skate programmes, junior hockey clinics, and much more, we have loved seeing so many of you enjoy this amazing sport.
As we kick off our 25th birthday, we are excited to bring even more enticing activities for all ages and abilities. Take a look below on the activities which will be offered.
Further announcements and updates on these events will be made soon!
