Starting from humble beginnings in 2016, the Battle of Notts 2026 sees University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University battle it out in their annual ice hockey grudge match at the National Ice Centre. The Battle of Notts continues to increase in popularity each year and attracts crowds of fans. The event is set to be a high tempo, action packed thriller and is now a staple of the university sports calendar!

Please use the National Ice Centre entrance on Bolero Square for this event which is to the right hand side of the Box Office.

This is a general admission event taking place on the T&D Rink. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+.
We’re operating bag and search policies. Please do not bring bags to events if possible. If you need to bring a bag, no rucksacks or bags larger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm will be permitted. Lockers will not be available for use. All customers will be subject to a search outside the venue via wand before entering.
