Family Learning Programme

The National Ice Centre and Nottingham City Council have teamed up to deliver this free programme. 

Our Values, Money and Me family learning programme has been designed to help adults and children understand how personal and interpersonal skills can enhance the quality of lives; leading to increased confidence, self-esteem and improved Maths, Financial, English and E-learning knowledge. 

Each session will consist of a story book, dilemmas for discussion, and interactive activity, as well as the opportunity to head to the ice for skating lessons. 

Included in the programme: 
🕮 1 hour interactive lesson on Values, Money and Me
⛸️ 30 minute group ice skating lesson and 30 minutes of practice skating
🎟️ A free family skating ticket for each family who completes the course
🏵️ A certificate for everyone in the group 

This course is for Nottingham City residents who meet the following criteria are entitled to our courses free of charge if they:
• Are 19+
• Are unemployed and in receipt of benefits
• Are job seeking or working and earning below £16,009 annual gross salary
• Have lived in the UK or an EU country continuously for the last three years on the first day of their intended course
