At the National Ice Centre, we believe everyone can learn to ice skate! That’s why we offer lessons suitable for all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning after a break, or have a child eager to glide on the ice, we’re excited to guide you on your skating journey.

Lessons are available all year round – except for two weeks during the Christmas and New Year period – and can be booked via a direct debit from £42 per month.

What You Will Receive
Thirty Minute Group Tuition
Learn with other dedicated skaters, make new friends, and tackle a new skill with your loved ones, our group lessons are a perfect activity for everyone.
Skate Hire*
Looking to take general or speed lessons? Then take advantage of free skate hire. We have a variety of sizes from toddler size 5 to adult size 15.

Coach Support
With dedicated coaches, you will go from never stepping on the ice to a pro in no time!
Track Your Progress
You can track your progress via the HomePortal! Not only will you learn how you're getting on after each session, you will also be able to see what you need to work on as you make your way through the skating levels.
Free Unlimited Public Skating
Sessions must be booked in advance online by logging into our public skating account here. Not available to customers on the 6 week course.
