at our Summer Family Fun Day!
Looking for a way to keep cool and create lasting summer memories with the whole family?
Join us on Sunday 18 August from 10am to 2pm for a day of ice cool fun that’s guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s face!
There's plenty to enjoy at this free day out, here's a sneak peek of what awaits:
Public Skate Sessions: Lace up your skates and glide across the ice during our exciting public skate sessions. Perfect for all ages and abilities, it’s a fantastic way to cool down and have a blast!
Taster Sessions: Have a go at skating lessons, ice hockey, synchronized or speed skating, all hosted by our expert resident clubs and coaches.
Off-Ice Activities: Don’t worry if skating isn’t your thing! We’ll have a variety of fun-filled activities happening off the ice to keep everyone entertained. Think face painting, arts & crafts, and exciting games for the whole family.
Food & Drinks: Keep your energy levels up with delicious refreshments available throughout the day.
Plus Special Guests:
This event is free to attend, all off-ice and community activities are at no cost. To take part in any on-ice activities and public skating you will need to pay the fee listed above.

Join us at our Summer Family Fun Day for a day of entertainment! ⛸️🙌
Enjoy a host of free activities both on the ice and off the ice throughout the day!
Off-ice activities will take place on Bolero Square from 12pm and include: an inflatable ice hockey rink, shooting cage, table tennis, garden games and more to be confirmed.
Plus, there will be arts and crafts activities inside the venue.
On-ice activities include Taster Sessions for: Tots, Skating Lessons, Speed Skating, Synchronized Skating and Ice Hockey. The perfect opportunity to try sports and lessons that you wouldn’t normally get the chance to!
Provisional schedule for on-ice activities:
10:45 – 11:15am – Tots Taster Session
11:30am – 12:30pm – Skate UK Taster Sessions (Skating Lessons Level 1)
2:45 – 3:15pm – Speed Skating Taster Session
3:15 – 3:45pm – Synchronized Skating Taster Session
3:45 – 4:15pm – Ice Hockey Taster Session
