Tuesday 16 January, 2pm – 3pm – ‘Understanding the PDF’ (Ann Findlay)
This workshop will explain and educate skaters and parents on what is behind the PDF results and how each section of the
document relates to the skaters performance and executed elements

£25 per skater (one parent included in price)
Coaches are welcome to attend free of charge 
Open to skating parents and skaters of all levels and ages 

Wednesday 17 January, 5.45pm – 6.45pm – ‘Linking Music and GEO’s’ (Maggie Worsfold and Robin Cousins)
In this workshop, Maggie and Robin will discuss how to use competition music to the skaters benefit – to achieve better competition scores and improve skater’s GOE

£25 per skater (one parent included in price)
Coaches are welcome to attend free of charge 

 

Thursday 18 January, 6.30pm – 9.30pm – Adults Evening Mini Camp, Glides and Fizz

6.30pm – 7.15pm: On ice masterclass (Robin and Tamara)
7.30pm – 8.50pm: Off ice seminar and workshop; 3 parts
1. Explaning the criteria and PDF results (Ann)
2. Getting event ready (Amanda and Maggie)
3. Quiz time (Mary)
8.50pm – 9.30pm: Prosecco and nibbles (social time)

This all-inclusive evening is for adult skaters wanting to progress to a higher level.  The on-ice masterclass will start by teaching you basic skating skills and progress into other skating elements, finishing with choreographic features and movements.  The off ice workshop will touch on important parts of competing and progression, delivered by world-class judges and officials.  

£65 per skater
Open to adult skaters of all levels and ages.

Robin Cousins
1980 Olympic Champion and European Champion.  Three-time World medallist. 

Maggie Worsfold 
ISU Referee, ISU Program Components Moderator and member of ISU Officials Assessment Commission.  Officiated ISU European and World Championships.  Chair of the BIS Singles and Pairs Technical Advisory Committee.

Ann Findlay
ISU Championship Technical Controller, ISU Championship Judge, National Referee and Program Components Moderator in Singles and Pairs.   Participated in various capacities and on Committee’s from Club level to National and ISU level.  Currently a member of the BIS Technical Advisory Committee for Singles and Pairs and Chair of the Performance TAC.

Mary Chapman
ISU Championship Judge and International Referee for Singles and Pairs. Recently elected to the British Ice Skating Board as nominated Director – Figure Skating Singles and Pairs.  Test Organiser for British Ice Skating.

Amanda Knight
National Championship Judge and Referee.  Judging experience for 18 years.
