Pride Skating Disco

June is Pride month, a month to celebrate and recognise the LGBTQ+ community.
Our ice skating sessions are open to all – all year round. To celebrate this and in support of Pride month, we’re hosting a themed disco session with rainbow lights. 🌈
Alongside other ice arenas across the UK, we are proud to partner with British Ice Skating’s Pride campaign to showcase our commitment to inclusivity within the sport! Join us on Saturday 29 June under the lights as we play your favourite anthems. This Pride Disco Skate is a vibrant celebration and the perfect warm up ahead of Notts Pride.
We’re pleased to confirm Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service LGBT+ Proud Friends Network will be in attendance at our Pride Skating Session on 29th June.
Together we remember our history, we make our voices heard and we celebrate Nottinghamshire’s fabulous diversity.
Our skating parties are very popular so make sure you book your tickets online in advance to avoid disappointment. Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive and put your skates on. If you need extra assistance or have special requirements, please email us and we will aim to assist you.
Nottingham Pride – Saturday 27 July
Nottinghamshire Pride 2024 will take place on Saturday 27 July and celebrates LGBTQ+ talent across the city and county! Nottingham Pride begins with a visibility march through the city centre of more than 7,000 LGBTQ+ people and allies, followed by an afternoon market with events stage, educational stalls weaving their way through the streets of Nottingham. You will find local grassroots community groups, charities, organisations and staff networks who offer services, support and information – it’s going to be a great event and you can find out more about what’s happening on the day here.
In support of Nottinghamshire Pride, we would love you to lace up your skates and join us for a fun-filled afternoon of skating. Our Public Skating sessions will be available as usual during Nottingham Pride; 10.30am – 12.30pm, 2.30pm – 4.30pm or 7pm – 9pm.
You can also join our Neighbours – Saltbox Live Music Venue & Kitchen, for a Pride Silent Disco, taking place 1pm – 5pm. It’s free entry and they’ll be 2-4-1 cocktails! What’s not to love?
